Networking & Social Media Assistant (Part-Time, Local Brands)

About the Role

We’re looking for a people-first, outgoing, and organized Networking & Community Outreach Assistant to help grow awareness for two local brands:

• WOMline – a growing platform connecting homeowners with trusted local contractors
• Fellow Tree – an established, community-based tree service

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys attending networking events, representing local businesses, and building real relationships — not just posting online.

Time will be split approximately

• 60% WOMline
• 40% Fellow Tree

Key Responsibilities Networking & Community Engagement (Primary Focus)

• Attend local networking events, business meetups, chamber events, and community gatherings
• Represent the brands professionally and confidently
• Help build relationships with:
• Local business owners
• Contractors
• Realtors, property managers, and community members
• Track contacts, follow-ups, and conversations
• Assist with outreach and introductions (scripts and talking points provided)

Community Visibility & Support

• Support presence in local Facebook groups and community pages
• Engage with posts, comments, and messages in a professional, friendly tone
• Help keep both brands visible and active in the local community

Light Social Media Support (Secondary)

• Post simple, pre-approved content to Facebook and Instagram
• Share photos, short videos, and updates from networking events
• Maintain consistency — not heavy content creation or design

Coordination & Organization

• Keep notes from events and conversations
• Communicate insights, leads, and opportunities clearly
• Help ensure follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable speaking with new people in person
• Friendly, confident, and professional communicator
• Organized and reliable
• Familiar with local networking environments
• Comfortable using Facebook & Instagram
• Able to represent brands clearly and positively

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience attending networking or chamber events
• Background in community outreach, sales support, or marketing
• Familiarity with local service-based businesses
• Basic Canva or content posting experience

Compensation

• $15–$22/hour, based on experience
