We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern who is excited to help develop and grow our online presence, spark engagement, and generate real sales through smart, high-energy content.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and original content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Manage daily social media posting schedules using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Design eye-catching graphics and visuals using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Suite to enhance content appeal.
• Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity, providing insights to optimize campaigns.
• Assist in executing targeted Facebook Advertising campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
• Analyze web traffic and social media metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Support branding initiatives through creative content creation, proofreading, and maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all channels.
• Collaborate with the team on public relations activities and influencer outreach to expand our online presence.
• Contribute to e-commerce strategies by creating product-focused content that drives online sales.
• Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, SEO practices, keyword research techniques, and social media management tools.

✨ What You’ll Do

• Create and post engaging video and photo content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
• Help promote new products, launches, and behind-the-scenes magic from Sugar Art Supply & Signature Drink Lab
• Execute a consistent posting schedule to grow engagement and followers
• Brainstorm and pitch trending content ideas
• Interact with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build community
• Track analytics to see what’s performing and report insights
• Collaborate directly with the owner on promotions, campaigns, and seasonal themes
• Drive traffic to our shops and help generate measurable sales

Ideal Candidate

• Currently enrolled in college (marketing, communications, design, business, or media preferred — but all majors welcome!) Juniors / Seniors welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video
• Creative, organized, and motivated self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
• Bonus: basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or photo/video editing apps
• Big bonus: interest in sweets, edible art, drinks, or food trends
