I am a founder, franchising expert, and speaker building a strong personal brand alongside a B2B software company focused on improving communication between franchisors and franchisees.
I’m looking for one experienced individual (not an agency) who runs their own business and can own the entire digital marketing function for me — strategy through execution — using modern tools, analytics, and AI.
This is a 1099 contractor relationship, not a W-2 role.
What You’ll Own
You will be the primary person responsible for planning, creating, managing, and analyzing my digital presence.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute a personal-brand and thought-leadership strategy
Manage and grow LinkedIn (primary), with potential expansion to YouTube and Facebook
Create and manage a content calendar (written + video-based)
Edit or oversee editing of short-form video content
Write high-quality captions and long-form posts for a B2B audience
Design, build, or update website pages (Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
Optimize content for SEO, conversions, and speaking opportunities
Track performance using analytics and reporting dashboards
Use AI tools to improve efficiency, ideation, repurposing, and insights
Provide monthly performance summaries and recommendations
Who You Are
You are
An independent expert (freelancer / consultant / solopreneur)
Comfortable owning both strategy and execution
Strong in B2B, SaaS, consulting, or professional services
Fluent in LinkedIn thought leadership
Confident using AI tools (ChatGPT, content repurposing tools, analytics, scheduling platforms)
Data-driven, organized, and proactive
Able to work with minimal hand-holding
Skills & Tools (Examples)
You don’t need all of these, but you should be strong in many:
LinkedIn content strategy & growth
Short-form video editing (or managing it)
Website design / updates (Webflow, WordPress, etc.)
Google Analytics (GA4)
Social analytics dashboards
SEO fundamentals
AI-assisted content creation and analysis
Scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.)
Nice to Have
Experience working with founders, executives, or speakers
Experience with franchise, multi-unit, or operational businesses
Ability to help position content toward speaking gigs and partnerships
Engagement Details
Part-time / fractional engagement
Monthly retainer or hourly (open to discussion)
Long-term potential if it’s a strong fit
