Fractional Operations Manager for Growing Apparel Brand

We design children’s and women’s fashion with heart, craftsmanship, and creativity. As the brand expands into new categories and channels, we are building a strong operational foundation to support sustainable growth.

We are seeking a Fractional Operations Manager who brings clarity, structure, and calm leadership to a small but high-performing remote team.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced Operations Manager (fractional or part-time)
• Calm, clear communicator who brings order to creative environments
• Confident leading small teams and holding them accountable
• Strong process thinker with the ability to implement light systems without overcomplicating
• Comfortable reviewing budgets, analyzing spend, and identifying savings
• Experience in e-commerce or product-based businesses a must
• Someone who genuinely loves supporting founders and bringing structure to visionary brands

ROLE

The Fractional Operations Manager is the steady, grounding force of Indie Blue — the person who ensures plans become action, operations run smoothly, and the team is aligned and accountable.

You will oversee a small operations team (Operations Liaison & CS Supervisor + Customer Service/Operations VA) and collaborate closely with our fractional finance team. Your role is focused on operations excellence, budget oversight, cross-functional clarity, and team accountability.

This is not a marketing role. Product development and marketing strategy remain with the CEO.
