# **Job Description**

We are launching a **new website focused on the short-term rental booking industry**, and we are looking for an experienced **social media content specialist** to help us build momentum quickly.

This role has **two phases**

### **Phase 1 (Immediate)**

  • Create and post social media content right away to support our website launch
  • Platforms may include: **Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)**
  • Content should be tailored to:
  • Short-term rental owners and guests
  • Property managers
  • Hosts interested in direct bookings
  • Tone should be professional, confident, and industry-savvy (not generic or influencer-style)

### **Phase 2 (Training – by next week)**

  • Train our designated admin person to:
  • Create social media posts
  • Schedule posts
  • Follow a content framework you help establish
  • Training can be done via Zoom/Google Meet with clear documentation or SOPs

## **Required Experience**

  • Proven experience managing **social media for businesses**, ideally in:
  • Short-term rentals
  • Real estate
  • Travel
  • Hospitality
  • SaaS or marketplace platforms
  • Strong skills in:
  • Content ideation
  • Copywriting
  • Posting & scheduling
  • Engagement best practices
  • Comfortable **training non-technical staff**
  • Must be able to **start immediately**
