Influencer Relationship Manager Part-Time Position (to start)
WideFoc.us Social Media
Job Summary
Don't just drop an application if you're serious about this job. Please submit a cover letter than describes your experience with influencer content and relationships AND... so we know you're serious, tell us who Pluto is at WideFoc.us.
The team at WideFoc.us Social Media is on the search for a competent and motivated Influencer Relationship Manager to join us on a part-time basis, potentially moving to full-time (either in this role or combined with other projects).
All WideFoc.us team members begin as independent contractors for up to three months, at which point we'll look to putting you on the payroll officially.
Our ideal candidate is a well-organized, detail-oriented communicator who has solid time management skills and works well without a ton of structure. We need a self-starter who can work both independently and still mesh with our awesome team.
You'll learn our process, then manage it: identifying potential partners based on client priorities; building and nurturing strategic partnerships with social media influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors; negotiating deliverables and getting SOWs signed; then following up, getting client approvals for final posts, and generating reports (don't worry, we'll train you on that!).
Your experience in influencer content development, combined with your excellent communication skills and social media savvy, will help expand our clients' brand presence across various online platforms.
We're looking for someone who can tread the fine line between building strong working relationships with influencers while making sure our clients get the best value and ROI from their campaigns. It's a give-and-take that respects content creators while maintaining a strong stance on what's best for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential influencer partners aligned with clients' values and goals
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with influencers through personalized communication and ongoing support
- Negotiate collaboration terms, deliverables, and compensation packages to ensure fair and effective partnerships
- Manage influencer campaigns from inception to completion, tracking performance metrics and optimizing results
- Provide strong quality control on content submitted by partners (meaning, you have a point of view and know when something misses the mark and needs to be reworked)
- Collaborate with the rest of the WideFoc.us team to align influencer outreach and engagement with client social media content strategies and paid campaigns
- Maintain detailed records of influencer contacts, agreements, campaign progress, and performance data using the tools we'll provide (Google, Asana, Slack)
- Work within budgeted hours you're assigned for each campaign
Requirements
- Proven experience in outreach, negotiation, and content quality when it comes to influencer relationships
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing strategies, and project management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively across diverse stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights for final reports (aka measuring how well each campaign went with real metrics!)
- Leadership qualities that inspire collaboration and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
This is a part-time position, but we're always looking to bring talented people on board so they can earn PTO, get health insurance, start in our 401k matching program, and grow into leadership roles. Because influencer marketing isn't our core offering, that means you could gain additional hours by helping with other stuff like:
- Being a talented, innovative content creator yourself and assisting with Reels and TikToks for certain clients
- Kicking ass at copywriting to help with blog posts and other written content for clients and our own socials and blog
- Having skills in paid social campaigns (creating, optimizing, measurement) and supporting our social ad strategist
- Demonstrating other social media-related skills that make us even stronger — you tell us!
If this all sounds awesome to you, please be sure to include a cover letter telling us what motivates you. And don't forget to figure out who Pluto is, so we know you're into this!
