1st10 is hiring an experienced recruiter to work with high-profile AI and deep-tech startups and own end-to-end hiring for critical technical roles. You’ll operate as a trusted partner to founders and leaders, fast execution, high signal, strong close.

Must-have recruiting experience at a top tech talent brand (e.g., Stripe, Airbnb, OpenAI, etc) and preferably within the current AI startup ecosystem.

1st10 is an boutique recruiting firm that partners with early-stage investors and visionary founders to build world-class early engineering teams, with dedicated recruiters who integrate seamlessly and run the full process end-to-end. We were founded by Boris Epstein (founder of Binc) and our team has helped build early teams at companies like Ripple, Stripe, Square, Airbnb, Tesla and many more.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for priority technical roles (IC + leadership)
  • Partner with founders/HMs on role definition, interview plans, and calibration
  • Source, engage, and assess top talent; build durable pipelines via market mapping
  • Drive process and results: funnel health, weekly updates, closing strategy, candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years technical recruiting experience (startup/in-house/embedded)
  • Experience at a top-tier tech talent brand (e.g., Stripe, Airbnb, OpenAI, etc.)
  • Proven success recruiting AI/ML, deep-tech, infra, or similarly technical domains
  • Strong sourcing + closing; high judgment; excellent stakeholder management
  • Clear communicator; organized; comfortable with AI, Google Suite and ATS/CRM tools
