Full Time, Remote Social Media Script Writer (Short Form Videos)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Full Time, Remote Social Media Script Writer specializing in short-form videos. In this role, you will craft engaging, concise, and impactful scripts tailored for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more. Your energetic storytelling will captivate audiences, boost brand presence, and drive engagement across digital channels. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing an exciting opportunity to influence trending content and connect with diverse audiences worldwide.

We are a top tier social media marketing agency, working with small brands that are just starting out all the way to large, worldwide household brands. We're seeking an experienced social media script writer (minimum 2+ years of experience writing social media video scripts) who can:

• Generate short-form social media scripts for our clients. (AI is ok)
• If using AI - feed the AI the proper prompts to generate the best possible video scripts for short-form social media videos, while having the expertise to review, tweak, and optimize.
• Looking for someone who is highly responsive, experienced, and looking for a full time role where you will collaborate and communicate consistently with our team.
• Each short-form script should take you about 15 mins to generate, review, and finalize once you get the hang of the role. Looking for those who can put in full days with us and deliver maximum volume/output.

Must be located in the US, speak and write in fluent English, and be willing to start work right away/complete a Zoom interview prior to hiring.

Generous base/hourly pay + performance bonuses offered (both!).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in creative writing, copywriting, or script writing with a portfolio demonstrating social media content / video scripts
• Ability to collaborate and work within a remote team environment with others on our team
• Strong editing skills including proofreading, copy editing, and adherence to style guides / brands
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
• Knowledge of social media trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement strategies
• Ability to research effectively and incorporate relative/appropriate information accurately into scripts
• Proficiency with AI
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas quickly and work independently in a remote environment
