[Remote] Full-Stack Engineer (Vue.js & Laravel)

They are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to work across the full stack of their platform, focusing on building features end-to-end and improving performance. The role involves collaborating with the engineering team to design and implement RESTful APIs and contribute to both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain features end-to-end across Vue 3/Nuxt 3 front-end and Laravel back-end
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper authentication, validation, and documentation
  • Write comprehensive tests (component tests, API tests, integration tests)
  • Optimize database queries (MongoDB) and front-end performance
  • Contribute to component library development and Storybook documentation
  • Implement monitoring and observability improvements
  • Collaborate with the team to scope and deliver features in iterative releases
  • Participate in code reviews and help establish quality standards across the stack

Skills

  • 3–5 years professional development experience with strength in both front-end and back-end
  • Front-end: Vue.js expertise (Vue 3 Composition API), TypeScript, TailwindCSS
  • Back-end: Laravel experience (8+), understanding of service container, middleware, and Eloquent/ODM
  • Database: MongoDB experience preferred, or strong SQL background with willingness to learn NoSQL
  • Experience with AWS, ideally including: Storage and delivery (S3, CloudFront), Serverless functions (Lambda) for backend orchestration, Compute (EC2) for application workloads
  • Testing mindset: experience writing tests in production codebases (PHPUnit, Vitest, or similar)
  • API design: RESTful principles, authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth)
  • Git proficiency and experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Clear communication in English
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
