Part-time Senior Instructor — Contractor

Overview

Pherson is seeking instructors with experience managing operational security who are passionate about developing other security professionals. Candidates should possess a mix of deep technical/practical OPSEC knowledge, strong analytical thinking, real-world experience, and excellent teaching abilities.

Job Title: Part-Time Senior instructor

Location: Virtual

Operating Hours and Expectations: This position anticipates delivering a 12-day course, Monday through Thursday, over a 15-day time period. Multiple iterations will be scheduled.

Position Type: Contractor, Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver synchronous instruction through an online platform (Adobe Connect or Teams)
• Grade student assignments, exams and papers and provide meaningful feedback
• Provide after action report and feedback post delivery

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience as an instructor
• Prior experience with virtual delivery (e.g., platform proficiency)
• Experience managing an OPSEC program within a cleared environment within the last 5 years
