Talent Wall is seeking a Financial Modeling Expert (Individual Contributor) – AI Tutor to shape the next generation of AI-powered financial solutions. The role involves leveraging expertise in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and deal structuring to create high-fidelity tasks for AI tutors.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust financial modeling tasks, referencing precise source documents and internet URLs for unambiguous data sourcing
• Create highly detailed prompts and execution plans, enabling AI systems to construct comprehensive models from scratch
• Develop gold-standard reference model files and objective rubrics for task accuracy, formatting, and advanced financial criteria
• Construct detailed tasks across core domains such as DCF with WACC, trading comps, precedent transactions, and integrated 3-statement models
• Develop advanced and industry-specific models, including LBO, merger, REIT conversion, sale leaseback, and bespoke transaction structures
• Deliver due diligence analyses for specialized verticals (e.g., unit economics, cohort trends), ensuring real-world fidelity
• Collaborate with cross-functional AI development teams, maintaining clear written and verbal communication throughout task lifecycle

Skills

• 5+ years' experience as a banker or financial modeling specialist within top-tier U.S. companies (investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, tech, or corporate development)
• Expert-level proficiency in valuation analysis, financial modeling, and deal modeling across diverse structures and industries
• Demonstrated capability to design, build, and audit integrated 3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and bespoke transaction models from scratch
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities—comfortable documenting methodologies and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams alike
• Experience sourcing and referencing financial data from primary filings (10-Ks, data rooms, etc.) with high fidelity
• Proven ability to work independently, delivering high-quality results in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Background in both investment banking (analyst/associate/VP) and buy-side roles (PE, hedge fund, growth equity, VC, or corp dev finance)
• Experience designing evaluation rubrics for technical or educational content
• Familiarity with advanced due diligence and bespoke transaction models (spinouts, RMTs, IP licensing)
