Job Description

Telenor ASA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Remote Social Media Assistant. This is a unique chance to get paid for engaging with online communities and supporting our digital presence, all from the convenience of your phone. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Norway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and engage with social media comments and messages across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Assist in scheduling and posting pre-approved content.
  • Identify trending topics and relevant conversations to inform content strategy.
  • Report on social media engagement metrics and community feedback.
  • Provide basic customer service support by directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain brand consistency in all digital interactions.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Excellent written communication skills in English and Norwegian.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of online etiquette and community management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (personal or professional) managing social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new digital tools and strategies.
