ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (U.S.)

Position Type: Independent Contractor

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: Competitive Monthly Retainer

We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Organic Social Media Manager to take responsibility over our social media channels and brand storytelling, including but not limited to content creation and direction, engagement, and channel growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organic Social Media Strategy

  • Ability to develop and implement a data-driven social media strategy that increases brand awareness through following, engagement, and ultimately, product conversion
  • Proactively suggest creative campaigns and themes that align and elevate brand storytelling.

Content Management

  • Plan and create engaging digital content across social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Responsible for all aspects organic social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Draft engaging captions that reflect the brand’s voice and resonate with our luxury audience
  • Curate and execute posts that align with moon d’elle brand guidelines
  • Maintain a polished, high-end aesthetic that reflects the quality and exclusivity of the brand
  • Proactively manage and monitor brand perception and social media reputation
  • Ability to create unique lo-fi content and edit into reels as part of social media strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing agency to utilize photoshoot materials as well as influencer content / collaborations
  • Develop and maintain a posting schedule and content creation calendar that aligns with the brand’s marketing initiatives and brand strategy
  • Align organic social media efforts with paid media strategies, email marketing, and other website content
  • Identify opportunities to feature brand milestones, news, and behind-the-scenes content

Community Management

  • Actively engage with followers through comments, DMs, and stories
  • Grow social audience and amount of traffic that leads to customer conversion

Performance Reporting:

  • Track and report on key metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion
  • Use analytics to refine strategies and improve performance over time
  • Use analytics to identify top performing posts and adjust future content accordingly

Leadership:

  • Ability to supervise others in creating content that reflects brand
  • Specifically, a willingness and ability to collaborate with remote and international (Italian) content creators in generate content (reels/Tiktok) that reflect the brand on brand-related channels

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related area of study is preferred)
  • 2+ years creating content and managing social media for a brand(s)
  • Proven experience in developing and executing a comprehensive organic social media strategy directed at growing a brand’s following, engagement, and ultimately, product conversion
  • Experience working with marketing agencies or creative teams.
  • Experience working with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to create production-quality content
  • Ability to independently create, curate, and amplify user generated content (UGC) that aligns with brand aesthetics
  • Strong experience in complete UGC content creation process, from idea generation to shooting and editing content on iPhones.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging captions.
  • Exceptional creative and graphic design skills.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of platform-specific trends, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Experience managing and growing engaged online communities, including responding to comments and messages.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of luxury customer behavior on social media and how to craft content that resonates with high-end customers.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, voice, and luxury aesthetic to maintain a cohesive digital presence across platforms
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience collaborating with brand-aligned creators as directed by digital marketing team

Preferred:

  • Experience directing and managing a content creation team
  • Experience managing social media accounts for luxury or premium brands
  • Expertise in handling customer interactions with a luxury service mindset
  • Interest and passion for fashion / accessories / apparel.

COMPENSATION

Monthly Retainer: starting at $1,500/month
