Seeking Restaurant Social Media Manager/ Content Creator

Overview

Cochon King BBQ is a family owned and operated restaurant and catering company based in Gentilly, New Orleans. We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our krewe.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create engaging content across various platforms, mainly facebook, instagram, and tiktok.
• Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and conduct social listening to gauge audience sentiment.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns, including Facebook Advertising, to increase reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Canva or Illustrator.
• Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Buffer to inform future strategies.
• Conduct proofreading and editing of all content to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Foster relationships with key influencers and engage in public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong skills in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with branding principles and public relations strategies.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional proofreading abilities.

Our internal team handles a good bit of the posting (i.e. on stories, etc) but we need someone who is able to create some content/ get videos and pictures in our restaurant for us and to help us manage our instagram/facebook/and tiktok. Pay is negotiable depending on your experience and responsibility that is taken on. Join our team today!

Pay: $200.00 - $400.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
