Position Title: Environmental Engineer

Location: Position is 100% remote, and flexible from 20-40 hours per MONTH (part-time work). This could vary each week, depending on business needs.

Contract duration-9 months Contract -possible to extend

Shift- 1st

Position requires a Bachelors or Masters degree and 8-10 years of experience. Seeking someone who has Environmental Regulation experience, along with expert level Microsoft Office skills to complete the monthly & annual tasks listed within the JD.

Responsibilities:

Plans, designs, and oversees construction and maintenance of structures and facilities to solve environmental problems. Researches and determines sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil, utilizing knowledge of agriculture, chemistry, meteorology, and engineering principles and applied technologies. :

Designs gas and fluid flow systems, chemical reaction systems, mechanical equipment, and other test instrumentation.

Performs technical research and utilizes computers as aids in developing solutions to engineering problems.

Formulates plans, designs, cost estimates, and specifications. Expert position that requires a Bachelors or Masters degree and 8-10 years of experience.

Monthly Tasks (estimated 10 hours/month)

  • Fill Air Emissions Inventory: production, chemicals, fuel, etc
  • Fill Waste Tracking: invoices, scales records, and others
  • Fill Sustainability Data Base Report
  • Update Regulatory Registry
  • Other minor routinary reports

Annually Documentation Tasks (1 or 2 topics per month, estimated 30 hours/month)

  • Annual Compliance Reports: Tier II, TRI, AEAR,
  • Environmental Programs
  • Improve Environmental Training content
  • Update SWPP / SPCC
  • Update chemical inventory and risk assessment
  • Update Chemicals, Wastewater, Air Emissions, and other Programs
  • Implement environmental controls: compatibility matrix, secondary containments risk assessment,
