Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our dynamic team (As a contractor/freelance). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing and content creation, with the ability to engage audiences through compelling written content. This role involves:
Ideating content, creating various media formats (text, video, audio, graphics), editing and publishing content, managing content calendars, analyzing performance, engaging with audiences on social media, researching trends and topics, optimizing for search engines (SEO), and collaborating with other teams like marketing and design
Duties
- Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms including websites, blogs, and social media channels.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and enhance visibility in search engines.
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and web analytics to track content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage social media accounts using applications like Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing posts.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce multimedia content including infographics, videos, and images.
- Implement social listening techniques to monitor brand mentions and industry trends, adjusting content strategies accordingly.
- Proofread and edit all written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Assist in public relations efforts by crafting press releases and promotional materials that effectively communicate our brand message.
- Engage in relationship management with stakeholders to ensure alignment on content initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, branding, and social media marketing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content writing or a related field with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research techniques.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies including Facebook Advertising and video editing skills is a plus.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and style consistency.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to create relevant content.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
