Our direct-to-consumer business is our largest channel and the main point of entry for customers who decide to go with Nicks. We differentiate with the widest selection of options in the industry along with a focus on product quality and customer service. Our boots are made to last, highlighted by our long history as a major supplier of footwear to the nation’s wildland firefighter community. Social media is an important customer acquisition tool for us and we have a significant presence on YouTube, FB, IG, TT & Reddit. We are looking for someone who has experience creating successful social content and has a passion/interest in boots, leather goods, or the heritage space.

Job Description: The SM content creator works in our media team and is responsible for coming up with and executing on relevant content to increase our viewership. They will become familiar with our catalog and value proposition and be a strong contributor to the ideation process. Videography and/or photography skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities include

Execution of the Social Content calendar.

Contributing and ideally playing a key role in content ideation and strategy development.

Leading the optimization and testing of messaging, calls to action and brand voice across all marketing channels.

Delivering consistent and high-quality content and messaging across all social marketing channels.

Contributing to reporting dashboards for our social marketing efforts.

Bringing a fresh perspective to our content creation efforts.

Ideal candidates have

3+ years in social media content creation, either in a personal or professional capacity, with demonstrated success.

An approach to content that is innovative and different from what others are doing in that space.

Familiarity with the analytics of the platforms and internal reporting in the respective interfaces.

A passion for footwear, boots, leather, leather goods, workwear and/or heritage clothing.

Demonstrated history of working effectively within a team.

Some photography or videography experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
