Community & Social Media Associate

Our client, a well-known beauty company, is looking for a Community & Social Media Associate to join their team for a 5-month contract in El Segundo, CA. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in social media management and community management experience in the beauty space. Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor community interactions across all social platforms • Engage positively and proactively with followers, creators, and trend conversations • Help shape and express the brand’s authentic voice through captions and copywriting • Collaborate with customer service on product orders and promotions • Identify potential social issues and escalate when necessary • Build organic relationships with fans and influencers, and support product send-outs • Assist with trend spotting and agile content creation through social listening • Support on-site and event content capture • Source and integrate user-generated content into brand channels • Partner with cross-functional teams to amplify launches, campaigns, and events • Contribute to reporting and analytics to improve strategy and performance • Track and share community insights and competitive trends Required Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in social media and community management in the beauty space • Strong communication and writing skills • Creative thinker with a strong eye for brand tone and storytelling • Willingness to occasionally work nights/weekends for events or content needs • Experience with content creation is a plus If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
