The role involves designing and building robust software solutions using FIS/Systematics applications and COBOL, while tackling complex integration challenges in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Define, design, integrate, test, and support reusable software solutions aligned with business goals
Perform systems analysis, create specifications, write and test COBOL code, and implement application programs and data interfaces
Develop and support complex financial applications using GN, RM, MA, IM, and ST modules within FIS/Systematics
Influence technical decisions and collaborate across teams to drive scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility
Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems and resolve high-impact issues promptly

Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience with FIS/Systematics in a financial services environment
Hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM on IBM mainframes
Experience with Ad Hoc reporting tools like Easytrieve or DYL
Proficiency in mainframe utilities (e.g., SORT, IDCAMS)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to participate in on-call support for mission-critical systems
5+ years of experience developing batch and CICS applications
Experience with SQL, relational databases, or automated testing tools
Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based integration models

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
