POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners is seeking a Technical Engineer II to develop Billing and Interface Integrations that manage and develop data processes for multiple sites within the revenue division. This role is responsible for requirements gathering, data analysis, system configuration and interface development using a business rules engine and technical tools. This role is also responsible for having a strong knowledge of processes and troubleshooting technical issues. This position works closely with both the IT and RCM teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and alignment across the practice.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage billing system configuration for new and existing billing clients.
  • Setup, Troubleshoot and Support the Interfaces process both legacy and Decisions based .
  • Develop customized interfaces using the Decisions Rule Engine to ingest multiple data feeds and formats (HL7, .txt, .pdf) and output clean, standardized data for billing.
  • Responsibilities for assigned integrations and interface projects include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with project managers to develop go live plans for system integrations and interfaces
  • Gather, document, and verify requirements and specifications for the go live
  • Build and maintain data dictionaries; source to target mappings
  • Analyze, identify, and resolve data issues related to integrity, accuracy, and uniqueness of data
  • Work directly with management, project managers, IT, and other teams on integrations
  • Interface with clients and vendors
  • Monitor current data feeds into the billing application(s) and evaluate regularly for opportunities to increase automation, optimization, and throughput of additional data elements
  • HL7 Feeds o Flat File Feeds
  • Evaluate and implement the appropriate requirements, design, development, testing and troubleshooting process with internal teams, partners, providers, and external technology vendors.
  • Other tasks that relate to processes and supporting the overall Mission Control Team.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in implementation of interfaces in healthcare for billing systems highly desired
  • 3+ years of related Revenue Cycle experience; Radiology Billing experience highly preferred
  • Working experience with HL7 messages: ADT, ORM, ORU, and DFT
  • Familiarity with healthcare application environments (clinical EHR, RIS systems, healthcare billing and accounting applications) including data structures and hosting environments, and ability to use this knowledge to integrate and map fields to published HL7 standards
  • Experience with database integration and working in SQL Server along with appropriate tools to complete the tasks assigned.
  • Experience with establishing monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, and infrastructures for messaging systems
  • Experience analyzing and optimizing already deployed interfaces between internal and partner systems
  • Demonstrated capabilities in organizing and training support persons on tools related to managing the interface environment
  • Demonstrate understanding of data exchange protocols, security measures and industry standards relative to health data exchange
  • Highly knowledgeable of current integration methods, patterns, and best practices, with a history of delivering highly available, scalable, and supportable integration solutions with HL7 standards, interfaces, and integration engine technologies
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and exposure to clinical settings with experience in PACS, DICOM and RIS data and workflow • Self-motivated, quick learner who works well in a team
  • Well organized and detail oriented; must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal communicator across all levels of internal and external customers
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Performing in a cross functional multi-organization environment.
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills and systems analysis
  • Works successfully in both independent and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to resolve conflict, communicate effectively and work collaboratively across organizations
  • Experience with working in Decisions Applications tool.
  • Excellent language skills, both written and oral and proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$79,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
