Overview

We are seeking experienced Independent Freight Broker Agents to work under our authority. This remote, commission-only role is ideal for freight professionals with shipper contacts and industry experience looking for the freedom to operate independently with back-office support.

Duties

Solicit freight from shippers and manufacturers
Coordinate with carriers and negotiate competitive rates
Manage freight movements from origin to delivery
Ensure smooth communication between shipper, carrier, and broker
Enter load details into our TMS (provided)
Maintain documentation and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales roles.
Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software (such as Salesforce), EDI platforms, AS400 systems, and dispatching tools.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
Familiarity with freight forwarding concepts including 3PL services, NVOCC operations, carrier sales, and logistics planning.
Ability to manage accounts efficiently through CRM software and data entry accuracy.
Knowledge of FDA regulations related to transportation if applicable to specific freight types.
Experience in B2B sales environments with a focus on logistics or freight services.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
